Beginnings (1995)
Fontis was founded in 1995 in Momišići, as the first wholesale pharmaceutical company of its kind in Montenegro, laying the foundations for the company’s future development.
Pharmaceutical foundation
The founder and director of Fontis, licensed pharmacist Slavica Vučurović, showed a strong affinity for the formulation and development of skin care products during her studies. This interest later became the basis for the development of Fontis’ dermocosmetic segment, although products were not initially produced in the scope and form seen today.
Development of the aesthetic and consultative segment
In 1998, a treatment salon was opened within Fontis, then known as TEN and today operating under the name Fontela. This marked the beginning of the aesthetic and consultative segment, further expanding the company’s activities.
Expansion and introduction of new technologies
In 2005, Fontis relocated and continued its development across various health and aesthetic service segments. During this period, an internal medicine practice and a dermatology segment were active, the latter later discontinued. At the same time, quantum medicine was introduced through BICOM resonance, along with aesthetic treatments such as laser hair removal.
Dermocosmetic development and scientific support
The development of dermocosmetic products has remained a continuous part of Fontis’ work throughout all stages of its existence. A significant contribution to this segment was made between 2007 and 2011 during the doctoral research of Prof. Dr. Zorica Potpara, focused on the development and testing of Fontis products, with particular emphasis on Ulcinj peloid. Today, Prof. Dr. Potpara is a university professor and a professional consultant to Fontis.
Professional engagement and public presence
Over the years, Fontis has actively participated in numerous professional congresses and public appearances, including expert and educational media programs, contributing to knowledge exchange and professional development.

Today, Fontis represents a system that has evolved gradually through experience, research, and adaptation, maintaining continuity in its work and a strong connection to its founding values.
